Vasculitis – Inflammation of the blood vessels. Vasculitis can occur by itself or can be a feature of a rheumatic disease, such as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.

 

Vertebrae – The individual bones that are stacked one on top of another to form the spinal column

 

Viscosupplements – Products injected into osteoarthritis joints to replace the natural hyaluronic acid that usually gives joint fluid its viscosity. This process is known as viscosupplementation. Viscosupplements are currently approved only for OA of the knee, but are being tested on other joints.
