The Eastern Oklahoma Chapter was formed in 1949; it was charrtered in 1951 by the national Arthritis Foundation and became a member of the Tulsa Area United Way.
One in five Oklahoma adults has doctor-diagnosed arthritis or a related disease in addition to many children affected by juvenile arthritis. Obviously the need is great for programs, services and research!
