The Arthritis Foundation is pleased to recognize the following companies and organizations, each of which contribute $100,000 or more annually to support our mission:

Abbott, maker of Humira (a biologic agent for rheumatoid arthritis), is a Proud Sponsor of the Arthritis Foundation. In addition, the injection device for Humira has received the Foundation's Ease-of-Use commendation.  Abbot also sponsors RA Connect, an online community within arthritis.org whereby participants may share their thoughts and views.

Amgen Inc., makers of Enbrel and Kineret (medications for rheumatoid arthritis), is a Proud Sponsor of the Arthritis Foundation. The devices used to inject Enbrel and Kineret have also received the Foundation's Ease-of-Use commendation. Amgen and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals provided a grant to support the Foundation's newsletter for children, Kids Get Arthritis Too. Additionally, Amgen is a generous sponsor of the Juvenile Arthritis Conference and the Arthritis Foundation’s Arthritis Research Conference.

Bayer Consumer Care, marketers of Aleve, supports a wide variety of Foundation initiatives. The "easy open arthritis cap" has received the Ease of Use commendation from the Foundation and, is easier for people with limited mobility to open.

Biomet, Inc has joined the Arthritis Foundation as a national sponsor for the Arthritis Walk. Biomet, Inc. is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of products for joint replacement with engineering excellence being their heritage and passion. For over 25 years, they have applied the most advanced engineering and manufacturing technology to the development of highly durable joint replacement systems and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Biomet has had several local Arthritis Foundations chapter sponsorships such as galas and golf tournaments but this is their first national sponsorship

Bristol-Myers Squibb, maker of Orencia (a biologic agent for rheumatoid arthritis), is a proud sponsor supporting many areas of the Arthritis Foundation. Bristol-Myers Squibb has demonstrated generous support to the Foundation’s research efforts by providing a significant translational research grant for rheumatoid arthritis as well as sponsorship support of the Arthritis Research Conference. Bristol-Myers Squibb is sponsoring the distribution of Arthritis Today to rheumatologist offices nationwide. In addition, Bristol-Myers Squibb is sponsoring the Let’s Talk RA program, a platform program designed to spur effective dialogue between RA patients and their doctors.

Centocor, makers of Remicade (a biologic response modifier for rheumatoid arthritis), is a long time Proud Sponsor of the Arthritis Foundation. Centocor has also partnered with the Arthritis Foundation on many successful efforts including comprehensive RA educational programs called “Survive & Succeed” and “Joint Effort Against RA”.

Genentech, a leading biotechnology company, is a Proud Sponsor of the Arthritis Foundation. Genentech also provided a grant to the Arthritis Foundation to conduct a market research survey and PR campaign that focused on how advances in RA treatment have impacted the lifestyles of people living with the disease and what further progress needs to be made.

HealthSouth Corporation is one of thethe nation's largest post-acute healthcare providers, focusing on impatient rehabilitative services. HealthSouth supports the Arthritis Foundation through their payroll deduction campaign, which allows HealthSouth employees to contribute to Arthritis Foundation and the community of people living with arthritis.

Joint Juice is a Proud Sponsor of the Arthritis Foundation. Joint Juice was founded by The Stone Clinic, a leading orthopedic sports medicine practice in San Francisco, to find a more convenient and satisfying way for patients to take advantage of the power of glucosamine for joint health. They are dedicated to delivering glucosamine in a truly original and enjoyable form and display the Arthritis Foundation Proud Sponsor logo on their product and website.

McNeil, makers of Tylenol Arthritis Pain, believes its first responsibility is to the doctors, nurses and patients, to mothers and fathers and all others who use its products and services. In meeting the needs of these groups, everything they do must be of high quality. Tylenol Arthritis Pain is the presenting sponsor for Joints in Motion, the Arthritis Foundation’s marathon training program that raises millions of dollars annually to support our mission. Additionally, the EZ Open and Push & Turn packaging for Tylenol Arthritis Pain have received the Ease of Use commendation.

NutriSystem has recently joined the Arthritis Foundation as a national sponsor for the Arthritis Walk. NutriSystem is proud to support this event because maintaining a healthy weight helps limit the impact of arthritis. To encourage adults to get active and lose weight, NutriSystem has teamed up with the Arthritis Foundation to give a free “Walk with Ease” audio designed to help older Americans walk their way to good health with every NutriSystem Silver program. Founded in 1972, NutriSystem (NASDAQ:NTRI) is a leading provider of weight management products and services. The company offers a weight loss program based on portion-controlled, lower Glycemic Index prepared meals.

Pfizer Animal Health is in its second year as national sponsor of the Arthritis Walk. Pfizer Animal Health manufactures Rimadyl™ a 24-hour, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is administered once a day for dogs. It provides safe and effective relief of pain and inflammation due to canine arthritis, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Available only by prescription through your veterinarian.

Schiff Nutrition Group, Inc., makers of Move Free glucosamine and chondroitin dietary supplement, is a Proud Sponsor of the Arthritis Foundation. Move Free product packaging and marketing materials carry the Arthritis Foundation Proud Sponsor logo along with an acknowledgement statement that includes the Foundation's toll-free number and Web address.

Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Amgen, maker of Enbrel, continue their generous support of the Arthritis Foundation's newsletter for children, Kids Get Arthritis Too. The sponsorship enables the Foundation to send Kids Get Arthritis Too to physicians and consumers nationwide and provide helpful information for parents of children with arthritis. Additionally, Wyeth is a generous sponsor of the annual Juvenile Arthritis Conference.

Community Support

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs is one of the largest and oldest fraternal orders in the United States dating back to the 17th century and been supporting the Arthritis Foundation since 1986. Members of the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs have embraced the opportunity to work with the Arthritis Foundation by volunteering time, donating money and devoting their efforts at the local, state and national levels. They also work to assist local chapters in their activities as well as develop creative and innovative methods of raising money. Their dedication and commitment over the past 15 years has raised over $5.2 million dollars for the Arthritis Foundation.
